In undergoing their own personal healing, the tremendous vision to create a healing center for the land, the native Hawaiian people and visitors, this project was begun in what I believe to be the epitome of the perfect mindset of a client for a project. It is truly a work of the heart and an expression of the human spirit, a day long cleansing and blessing ceremony with prayer and testimony, hula dance and vocalists, this humble approach is sure to bring a complete success to this project.

The Architecture archetype is derived from the sign for infinity, the horizontal figure 8 and the word Mahalo, "the breath of God that comes to you, that you give to me, I return to you." "The endless loop." It is flexible and undulates 3 dimensionally over the terrain of the land. The concept is very organic and unique only to this project. The roof is like the outside of a shell with moss, lichen and barnacles as well as vines growing on it. The inside above would be organic again but with an iridescent, mother of pearl finish, with glass and wood. The roof structure ribbing resembles the skeleton of a whale, dragon or dinosaur.

The rock would use pieces from the site with additional volcanic rock from Peles Mona Loa and a beautiful yellow/gold Calcite from Kauai. Kauai calcite represents a new reality. They project the highest possible creation into your environment and accelerate the spiritual growth process. They point the way to a new future and to a future that has yet to happen. The wood is a local mahogany from Hawaii.
