Li Jiang, China - Click Here to Search
Beloved Li Jiang, is perhaps the finest example in the world of and old, large city's architecture and gardens, that are still flourishing today. The indigenous Nakhi Kingdom and people of Li Jiang still honor God in their Maun Peu ceremony, humbly thanking bountiful heaven for continued prosperity and imploring it to not withhold is favors during the current year.

When the owner of the Chinese development firm first laid eyes on Li Jiang, he was so moved by its beauty and set out to find what he thought to be the finest design team in the world. To build anything less than the previous great work, he felt would be a sacrilege. That led him to organic architect, Mickey Muennig. It was through Mickey that I was re-introduced to Li Jiang, China and the project for its continued growth.

While we were waiting for property acquisition in Li Jiang to close, China was hit by one of its most devastating earthquakes and over 5 million people and buildings are displaced or destroyed. We are now, also in contact with the Chinese Government to further assist in this rebuilding.

Here again we see the suppression of an indigenous people, like our own American Indians; their freedom must be supported. Through the natural calamities and forces of tyranny that this city and its people faced, now the most difficult task of all is upon them.... that of not being understood. "Home is not where you live, but where you are understood."

Watch as we collaborate with the Nakhis of Li Jiang to design a beautiful master plan to continue their existence in these unprecedented changing times.
